Annual Church Picnic 2025

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, our church community came together for one of the most beloved gatherings of the summer: the Annual Church Picnic and Blessing of the Grapes. Under clear skies and warm sunshine, parishioners, families, and friends enjoyed a beautiful day filled with fellowship and thanksgiving. The picnic offered a wonderful opportunity for our community to step outside the walls of the church building and continue our life together in a joyful and relaxed setting.
Throughout the day, the spirit of togetherness could be seen everywhere. Children played, friends caught up with one another, and families shared conversation around tables filled with food and refreshments. The laughter, smiles, and warm sense of welcome made the event especially memorable. It was a true celebration of parish life, where new memories were made while long-standing friendships were renewed.
A special highlight of the day was the Blessing of the Grapes, a cherished tradition in the Armenian Church. This meaningful observance reminds us to give thanks to God for the fruits of the earth and for His many blessings in our lives. As the grapes were brought forward and blessed, the moment brought a prayerful and reverent spirit to the celebration, beautifully connecting our picnic with the faith and heritage that continue to guide our parish.
The beauty of the day, the strength of our community, and the shared joy of gathering together made this year’s picnic especially uplifting. We thank all those who helped organize the event, prepared food, volunteered their time, and contributed in so many ways to make the day such a success.
